Kibik Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Cosmic Taps, S.L. (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use Kibik. In this policy, “the App” means the main Kibik app, and “the Keyboard” means the Kibik keyboard extension you can enable on your device.

Your use of Kibik is also covered by the Kibik Terms of Use and Subscription Terms.

Who we are

Kibik is operated by Cosmic Taps, S.L., a company based in Spain. Our registered office is Calle del Doctor Castelo, 44, 28009 Madrid, Spain. We are the controller of the personal data described in this Privacy Policy.

For legal notices, you can contact us at legal@cnavosmictarefps.com. For support, privacy questions, or other requests, please use the Kibik contact page.

The short version

Kibik does not require an app-specific account. The App stores app data on your device, such as saved snippets, the list of wallpapers you have unlocked, settings, and similar information. The Keyboard may process what you type locally for keyboard features, but we do not use the Keyboard to collect, store, or send typed text to servers. We use service providers for purchases, analytics, crash reports, attribution, ads, consent, and notifications, as explained below.

Data in Kibik

The App stores data on your device, such as text snippets you have saved, the list of wallpapers you have unlocked, and your settings. We do not store this app data on our own servers.

Your app data may be included in your iCloud backups if iCloud Backup is enabled for your device. You can learn more in Apple’s iCloud data security overview.

The Keyboard may process the text you type locally on your device to provide keyboard features, such as changing text style, autocorrection, or grammar checking. This text processing happens locally. We do not use the Keyboard to collect, store, or send the text you type to our servers, any other server, or third-party servers.

The Keyboard may ask for Full Access. iOS shows a broad warning for keyboards with Full Access because a keyboard with Full Access can technically send what you type to servers. We do not use Full Access for that. We use Full Access so the App and Keyboard can share data and settings on your device. We do not use Full Access to send typed text to servers, share typed text with third parties, access your Contacts or Location, sync keyboard data through iCloud, or make network requests from the Keyboard.

When you download a wallpaper, the App will request permission to save images to your photo library. We do not use this permission to read your photo library.

Services that help us run Kibik

Purchases and subscriptions

The App offers additional features through purchases and subscriptions. Apple handles the purchase process through your Apple Account. We receive purchase and subscription status information so the App can unlock paid features and restore purchases, but we do not receive your payment card details.

We use RevenueCat for purchase analytics and to help send purchase events to Mixpanel. RevenueCat generates an app user ID, and we also use that ID in Mixpanel, so purchase events and app analytics can be connected for the same App user.

Analytics and crash reports

We use Firebase Analytics and Mixpanel to understand how people use the App and Keyboard, measure experiments, and improve features. Firebase Analytics may also collect purchase information. Mixpanel also receives purchase events through RevenueCat, as described above. We do not intentionally send the text you type with the Keyboard or saved snippets to analytics services.

We use Firebase Crashlytics to find and fix crashes and other technical problems. Crash reports can include technical information such as device model, operating system version, app version, logs, and what the App or Keyboard was doing when a problem occurred. Crash reporting is separate from Keyboard text processing. We do not intentionally log the text you type with the Keyboard or saved snippets in crash reports, but diagnostic data can sometimes include information from the App or Keyboard context needed to understand a crash.

Attribution

We use Apple Search Ads attribution tools, including ASATools and Apple AdServices through RevenueCat, to understand whether installs, purchases, or subscriptions came from Apple Search Ads campaigns. This helps us measure ad performance.

These tools may process attribution information such as campaign, ad group, keyword, country or region, and purchase events. Some attribution and purchase information can be connected with RevenueCat or Mixpanel identifiers, as described above.

The App shows ads through Google AdMob. Google and its ad partners may process information such as device identifiers, approximate location, ad interactions, and information about the App to show ads, measure ads, prevent fraud, and comply with legal requirements. Ads may be personalized only when allowed by your consent choices and Apple’s tracking permission.

We use Google User Messaging Platform to ask for and store ad consent choices where required. The App’s settings may show a button to review or change those choices when Google indicates that this option is available.

On iOS, the App may ask for Apple’s permission to track your activity across other companies’ apps and websites. If you do not allow tracking, the App cannot access Apple’s advertising identifier for tracking. You can change this permission in iOS Settings. You can learn more in Apple’s App Tracking Transparency overview and Google’s advertising privacy information.

Advertising partners may also use Apple’s SKAdNetwork for ad measurement.

Push notifications

If you allow notifications, the App may send Kibik updates, offers, or reminders through Firebase Messaging. To deliver them, Firebase Messaging processes a push notification token and related technical information for your device.

Notifications may be targeted based on app activity, purchase status, experiments, or analytics. We do not use the text you type with the Keyboard or saved snippets to target notifications. You can turn notifications off in iOS Settings.

Support and emails

If you contact us from the App, your email app may open a support email. We process the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message, attachments, and any follow-up messages.

By default, support emails from the App may include a diagnostic signature with technical information, subscription status, and high-level app analytics that helps us understand the issue. You can edit or delete that information before sending the email.

We use support messages to answer you, investigate issues, improve Kibik, and keep reasonable records of the request. We do not use the text you type with the Keyboard or saved snippets for support unless you choose to include them in your message.

We process personal data only when we have a legal basis under GDPR. Depending on the data and feature, this may be because it is needed to provide the App, Keyboard, purchases, support, or requested features; because you gave consent, such as for notifications, personalized ads, tracking, or optional permissions; because we have a legitimate interest in keeping Kibik working, fixing bugs, improving features, preventing fraud, measuring ads, and answering users; or because we need to comply with legal obligations.

Some data or permissions are needed to provide features you choose, such as purchases, support, notifications, or saving wallpapers. Optional permissions can be declined, but the related feature or personalization may not work.

We share personal data with service providers that help us operate Kibik, including Apple, Google and Firebase, Mixpanel, RevenueCat, and ASATools. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users, or in connection with a business transfer.

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was processed, including to provide Kibik, keep purchase and consent records, answer support requests, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods can vary depending on the type of data, your device settings, Apple settings, and the settings or legal requirements of the providers we use. App data stored on your device remains there unless you delete it, reset it, or remove the App. iCloud backups are controlled through your Apple settings.

Your rights and choices

You can ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict, or transfer your personal data. You can also object to some processing, including direct marketing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already happened. We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects on you. To make a request, use the Kibik contact page, or email us at legal@cnavosmictarefps.com if you prefer or cannot use the App.

You can also control some processing directly on your device. For example, you can turn notifications off in iOS Settings, change Apple tracking permission in iOS Settings, review Google ad consent choices where the App makes that option available, and delete or reset App data on your device.

If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency, the AEPD, or to your local data protection authority.

Children

Kibik is a general-audience app and is not specifically directed to children. If you are not old enough to consent to data processing in your country, you should use the App only with permission from a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has sent us personal data without proper permission, please contact us.

Updates, terms, and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above. If changes are important, we will take reasonable steps to notify users.

Your use of Kibik is also covered by the Kibik Terms of Use. For support, privacy questions, or other requests, please use the Kibik contact page. For legal notices, you can email us at legal@cnavosmictarefps.com.
