Mirror Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Cosmic Taps, S.L. (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use Mirror. In this policy, “the App” means the Mirror app.
Your use of Mirror is also covered by the Mirror Terms of Use and Subscription Terms.
Who we are
Mirror is operated by Cosmic Taps, S.L., a company based in Spain. Our registered office is Calle del Doctor Castelo, 44, 28009 Madrid, Spain. We are the controller of the personal data described in this Privacy Policy.
For legal notices, you can contact us at legal@cnavosmictarefps.com. For support, privacy questions, or other requests, please use the Mirror contact page.
The short version
Mirror does not require an app-specific account. The App stores settings and preferences on your device. We do not store this app data on our own servers. The App uses camera and microphone access for mirror, photo, and video features, and uses Firebase for analytics and crash reports, as explained below.
Data in Mirror
The App stores settings and preferences on your device. We do not store this app data on our own servers.
Your app data may be included in your iCloud backups if iCloud Backup is enabled for your device. You can learn more in Apple’s iCloud data security overview.
The App uses camera access to display the camera view and to let you capture photos or videos. If you record video with sound, the App uses microphone access for that sound. The App may request permission to save photos or videos you capture to your photo library. We do not use these permissions to send camera, microphone, or photo-library content to our servers.
Services that help us run Mirror
Analytics and crash reports
We use Firebase Analytics to understand how people use the App and improve features. We do not intentionally send camera, microphone, photo, or video content to analytics services.
We use Firebase Crashlytics to find and fix crashes and other technical problems. Crash reports can include technical information such as device model, operating system version, app version, logs, and what the App was doing when a problem occurred. We do not intentionally log camera, microphone, photo, or video content in crash reports, but diagnostic data can sometimes include information from the App context needed to understand a crash.
Support and emails
If you contact us from the App or through the Mirror contact page, we process the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message, attachments, and any follow-up messages.
By default, support emails from the App may include a diagnostic signature with technical information and high-level app analytics that helps us understand the issue. You can edit or delete that information before sending the email.
We use support messages to answer you, investigate issues, improve Mirror, and keep reasonable records of the request. We do not use camera, microphone, photo, or video content for support unless you choose to include it in your message.
Legal details
We process personal data only when we have a legal basis under GDPR. Depending on the data and feature, this may be because it is needed to provide the App, support, or requested features; because you gave consent, such as for optional permissions; because we have a legitimate interest in keeping Mirror working, fixing bugs, improving features, and answering users; or because we need to comply with legal obligations.
Some data or permissions are needed to provide features you choose, such as camera display, photo or video capture, saving media, or support. Optional permissions can be declined, but the related feature may not work.
We share personal data with service providers that help us operate Mirror, including Apple, Google and Firebase. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users, or in connection with a business transfer.
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was processed, including to provide Mirror, answer support requests, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods can vary depending on the type of data, your device settings, Apple settings, and the settings or legal requirements of the providers we use. App data stored on your device remains there unless you delete it, reset it, or remove the App. iCloud backups are controlled through your Apple settings.
Your rights and choices
You can ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict, or transfer your personal data. You can also object to some processing and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already happened. We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects on you. To make a request, use the Mirror contact page, or email us at legal@cnavosmictarefps.com if you prefer or cannot use the App.
You can also control some processing directly on your device. For example, you can manage camera, microphone, and photo-library permissions in iOS Settings, and delete or reset App data on your device.
If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency, the AEPD, or to your local data protection authority.
Children
Mirror is a general-audience app and is not specifically directed to children. If you are not old enough to consent to data processing in your country, you should use the App only with permission from a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has sent us personal data without proper permission, please contact us.
Updates, terms, and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above. If changes are important, we will take reasonable steps to notify users.
Your use of Mirror is also covered by the Mirror Terms of Use. For support, privacy questions, or other requests, please use the Mirror contact page. For legal notices, you can email us at legal@cnavosmictarefps.com.
